Welcome to

Vestavia Hills

Nestled high on a crest of Shades Mountain in the foothills of the Appalachians, Vestavia’s residents enjoy some the most impressive views in the Birmingham area. Both modern and traditional, Vestavia embodies the fusion of history and innovation, which captures the essence of a true, modern Southern lifestyle. A stone’s throw away from the largest city in the state, Vestavia offers accessibility and convenience without the elevated price tag of other surrounding cities. Vestavia truly offers something for everyone from the older, traditional homes found in Old Vestavia to the newer, flawless community of Liberty Park. With an abundance of parks, sports complexes, Alabama’s first LEED certified library, nationally recognized schools, and all other modern amenities, Vestavia’s commitment to providing the highest quality of life to its residents is evident in every aspect of its communities.

Vestavia’s Communities at a Glance:

Liberty Park: This sophisticated planned unit development that emphases outdoor and communal living. With a long list of amenities, including sidewalks, cul-de-sacs, on site award winning elementary and middle schools, pool, parks, playgrounds, ball fields, walking trails, and stocked lakes, Liberty Park offers something for everyone.  Additionally, the plethora of planned activities provides its residents with ample opportunity to connect within the community. Oh, and car pool is often via golf cart affording a wonderful opportunity to visit!  It features several different neighborhoods offered at various price points. You will find many transplants who have moved to Birmingham and discovered this oh, so perfect neighborhood. (Did we mention that Susan and Adam and their families make their home in Liberty Park?) LP is one of the last places in Vestavia where you can find new construction. Its commercial area is outside the residential areas, but as you enter the complex, you'll find a Publix, restaurants, On Tap Brewery, and a multitude of other products and services. It is about a 25-30 minute commute to UAB.

Cahaba Heights: Cahaba Heights offers a small-town atmosphere along with the convenience of being situated right off of Highway 280.  Cahaba Heights was annexed into Vestavia in 2002. It offers more affordable housing than many other areas of Vestavia Hills and is made up of sweet, hard working, and family-centric residents.  It's make up is rapidly changing as villages are developed and smaller houses are torn down to build new larger ones. The secret is out! While it has no shortage of quaint eateries and boutiques, Cahaba Heights is particularly known for its exceptional antique shops, and is also located at the foot of an upscale shopping center, the Summit.
